Fairfield County Municipal Court attorney

The Fairfield Municipal Court hears the vast majority of misdemeanor criminal charges in Fairfield County.

Smaller jurisdictions, including municipalities with a Mayor's Court, may choose not to send misdemeanor cases to the Municipal Court and instead keep the cases in their own Mayor's Court.  You have the right to move your case to the Municipal Court if a municipality chooses to do so.

A case heard in the Fairfield County Municipal Court begins with a first court date which is noted on your ticket or citation. At this first court date a Defendant enters a "guilty", "not guilty", or "no contest" plea, or requests a continuance if they wish to get more time to retain an attorney.

Cases are overseen by Judges James Fields and David Landefeld

Cases in the Fairfield County Municipal Court from drug possession to OVI are charges that Attorney Brandon E. Shroy has successfully defended daily for the last 12 years.  Put his expertise to work for you.

Excellent customer service from Brandon to the office manager Clary. Both could not have been more professional, polite, and helpful. They turned a small mess into a success an accomplished exactly what I needed. I left this experience with this firm as a friend and would go back if needed!
